Been to Fire & Ice a few times, the owners are lovely people and are very customer focused, the meat platter was amazing and cooked well. The selection of meat on the menu is really good, varying from different cuts to different grades of meat, some really well priced and others are very expensive due to their quality which is understandable. Look forward to the next visit with family and friends.
Absolutely delicious steaks. Great selection of food and beer. Honestly the best steak I’ve ever had!
A wonderful restaurant with atmosphere, great staff, service and delicious food of generous portions. Diverse cocktail list, entrees and main courses absolutely delicious. Staff super friendly and attentive. Sharon and David greeted us and made us feel very welcome. Had a super enjoyable dinner and evening.
Had dinner here on the weekend and i can honestly say there sirloin wagyu is one of the best steaks i have ever had it just melts in your mouth and was cooked just right, i also had three starters the octopus and parma ham were my favourite i also loved the creme brûlée it cracked perfectly and the ice cream was really good as well.
A friend of mine celebrated her birthday at Fire and Ice. There were 8 of us and they handled our big table with no problem. The service was great and the food was delicious. We had a great night. The ribs were to die for - make sure you try them!
The food was outstanding and very generous servings, exactly what I was expecting based on previous experiences at ribs and rumps. Staff were very friendly and overly accommodating so will certainly return to dine in the future and highly recommend this place.
Yum! Great steak and ribs. Good service. Nice location. The street signage almost turned me off, but I’d heard good things so I gave it a chance and was impressed!
I had the mixed grill & it is every meat lovers dream on a plate! I enjoyed every bit of it & it was great value for a steak house with so many different cuts of meat (even bone marrow 👍🏼). To finish It will test the hungriest of men & comfortably satisfy 2 people. 👌
We had a great experience at Fire & Ice in Manly last Friday. Lovely ambience and spectacular views of Manly beach. We were greeted by friendly staff and owner David personally dropped by our table to assist with the order. Ended up with a fiery chicken wing starter, had the aged porter house steak and ribs with sides and washed down with a classic waffle dessert. The steak was cooked to perfection and true to our request was medium -well done and served with a very tasty gravy. Best steak we have had in a very very long time. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a great steak house in Sydney with awesome views of the ocean. We will definitely be back for some more.
As soon as i arrived i was greeted with a huge smile from the friendliest person i have ever seen. Turns out it was the Owner Sharon and since we arrived as soon as they opened, she offered to give the three of us a tour of the restaurant and introduced us to the chef. this made the experience of dining there all the more exciting. Having been a long and loyal fan of ribs and rumps i expected the best and was not disappointing at all in fact the food was better than it was at Ribs & Rumps. We will be going back again very soon. Thank You Sharon and David for coming back to Manly and bringing the BEST ribs with you.
We came here for lunch and the staff were so friendly and kind, the food was incredible. Best view as well, will be back if we visit Manly. Thank you x
Visited for sunday lunch. Amazing restaurant and the ribs are top shelf!! Fall off the bone tender and just the perfect amount of basting. If you are in the mood for top quality ribs, Fire & Ice has to be at the top of your list.
Big fan of the owner's previous restaurant. We had a great time and the steaks were fantastic (we had the top stuff, as good as Rockpool). Looking forward to coming back and trying the middle of the range to see if there's still as good a thing as the old Lazy Aged Sirloin! Basting was top notch as expected :) Other reviews are saying it's been a bit hit and miss, I think that's a shame and they are very hospitable, it's not easy opening up a new joint. I'm sure it'll come back to the former glory! 15 years ago it was our favorite place to go, happy they're giving it another shot!
Family of 4 - went for great steak and ribs and that's what we got! Dry aged T Bone was one of the best I've tasted and ribs fell off the bone. I'm not sure why other reviews say it's overpriced. Yes there are premium steaks on the menu but they are well within range of other specialist steak restaurants and there are plenty of more affordable options on the menu too. Given my local RSL now charges over $20 for a burger, there is no way this restaurant is overpriced! We will be back!

The food was great here. The staff and owners were absolutely accommodating. The steaks were cooked perfectly and pork ribs were falling off the bone. The knives were of excellent quality and all the food was exceptional. I would recommend this to all my friends and is great for all manly locals.
Had a wonderful dining time there with family and friend. The ribs are so tender and tasteful just like the way of Rib & Ramps used to be. I personal recommade Margarita to go with the Sashimi as the perfect matching. All the best with the new restaurant.
Great venue, food was delicious, I had to have a steak (Of course after walking past the impressive wall on my way to the table) I wasn't disappointed. it was cooked to perfection. very happy with the service, we were made to feel spoilt, which is what you want to feel when you come to fine dining establishments. great Job F&I team, looking forward to tackling the seafood next time.
Beautifully cooked steak, timely service, great views! Thank you to our waitress who looked after us so well, especially with the kids at our table. Food was delicious and we can’t wait to go back.
We went to fire and ice to celebrate fathers day and my wife's first dinner out since being pregnant. She was looking forward to eating a steak for the first time in over 9 months. We decided to go for the premium steak menu and had the 600g rump, with sides of mushrooms, onion rings, marrow bones and steak tartare. The food was amazing and the service was better. We had our 2 young daughters with us and the staff really looked after us to make sure all of us were comfortable. We will definitely be back.
We had a great experience! Loved the aged meat cabinet entry - quite a statement! We had the Sushimi and beetroot salad for entree (both awesome) followed up by a superbly cooked aged rib-eye. The restaurant is brand new and we loved the concept. We could tell the staff were, to a small degree, still learning the ropes, but that’s understandable and they we’re always super friendly - which goes a long way. Looking forward to a return visit and trying more of the menu.
Father's Day lunch was great - had the grade 6 rib eye - melted in my mouth - staff were good w the kids too!
Simply the best steak in Sydney! I took the kids there and they loved it - as did my lovely wife!
Great food , great service Highly recommended.
It's been so long since I've come across a place that does a great steak in manly and thank god for this place heheh.... great food, fresh seafood with amazing flavours and the wings were finger licking good.... can't wait to hit it up again.
Dont know if you were in the same restaurant mate - I found the attention to detail meticulous and the menu a real work of art. The food was great, service attentive and we all had a great time.
Epic Steak and Service! We will be back!
Been there on multiple occasions now and cant recommended them highly enough. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The sashimi was fresh and amazing. Staff very attentive and friendly. Finally great to be able to get a fantastic steak in manly.
Great service, great food, great vibe. The staff makes you feel at home. Love the use of the cuttleries. Try baby beet salad. If I could only suggest one thing, would be changing the lights as it should either be only the blue ones or only the main ones to make it uniquely chic 👌🏻✔ thanx for having us and the complimentary beers on the house.
Fire and Ice Manly is one of those restaurants where you could absolutely sit there all afternoon, and well into the evening for many reasons. 1) The food is amazing 2) The staff are delightful 3) The view is incredible We went on an early evening one Saturday night are were greeted with quite possibly the nicest staff you’ll ever meet. Sharon and David, the owners have been in the restaurant industry since their teens and have owned and run a few steakhouses in their time. They previously owned Ribs and Burgers for 18 years. They have since opened Fire and Ice, an ocean front restaurant in Manly with a concept serving raw meats, smoked meats, grilled meats and plenty of seafood. David knows his stuff, and certainly knows his meats. We took his advice and went for a 400g dry aged steak, served with fries and salad. The steak was incredible and cooked to our request. Having just returned from Argentina, we feel that we do know our steaks. We would certainly recommend a visit here for their meat. Top this off with a glass of red and you’re set. We couldn’t go past seafood on this visit, given we were at a beachside location. We ordered tuna tataki, so fresh and accompanied by a wasabi aioli and soy. The scallops were perfectly cooked, and the kingfish was so fresh and beautifully presented on a salt slab, marinated with lemon and lime, olive oil, chilli, capsicum, coriander and chives. The seafood here is quality and certainly a must and there’s even a seafood platter that would be a great option for sharing. The menu is one of the biggest you’ll find, not only in size, but the amount of menu options. Oysters to small bites, both hot and cold including a few dishes reflective of the owners’ South African heritage. There are plenty of pastas, burgers, ribs and side salads to select from. There’s also vegetarian options for those that prefer this. Steak though, is their specialty, as you enter you can see their aged locker of the beef options, and you can have fillet or sirloin on the bone, rib eye or a T-bone. You can read about the suppliers of this quality steak in the back of their menu. Sharon is possibly one of the best front of house managers we’ve met. She is so kind and welcoming and we really appreciated her hospitality. You can tell her experienced with the first greeting. There are some large and private areas too, so you could certainly hire this out for a party.
